GPU 127/1200 Triplet APO OTAThis super planetary telescope is unique on the market: no other manufacturer produces a similar focal ratio oil spaced triplet APO. This telescope was intentionally designed to provide really stunning performance for planets, double stars and other objects requiring top performance from the optics.The heart of this lens is a modern fluorite-glass produced by Schott in Germany. The mating elements are also coming from Schott, their partial dispersions match the fluoro-crown member virtually perfectly, so, there is extremely minimal variation of focal length with wavelength. This lens exceeds Thomas Back's definiton of apochromatism by about a 2.5x factor in every respect. The lens has a thermo-compensated aluminum cell, and the whole system was designed to minimize the negative effects of warm optics in the cooldown phase. During the cooldown phase, the lens shows very minimal undercorrection and practically zero false color, so it can be virtually immediately used with middle-range magnifications after taking it out of the house. After reaching the thermal equilibrium, the lens shows neutrally corrected optics without even the faintest hint of false color on any object in the sky. PricesWe accept orders with 50% pre-payment.
